A relaxed experience. I will get the shot of everyone looking and smiling at the camera. But I will guide you through poses and prompts to make the photos feel like you.


As a momma myself, I know kids don't like to sit still and be told to "say cheese". I love to be silly with your kids and make them feel comfortable with me! I want to make things fun, and no pressure. I love to lay out time for breaks to let them be kids. Most times, that's when I get best photos of them.

I love for my sessions to be like a look into your life. I want it to tell the story of your family. You are playing with them, the giggles, cuddles, rough housing etc. I just want to be there to tell the story, and to capture those memories. The days are long, but the years are short. Pictures are special ways for us to relive those memories forever.


Though my focus is families, I love to capture other big moments in people's lives. Highschool seniors, college graduates, couples madly in love, photos with that special furry friend, growing a new family member, capturing these memories in your lives to make sure you don't forget them.

I can’t say enough good things about Emily Jessup Photography. We were blessed to find her shortly after moving to Waco to take our annual family photos. We’d previously had a photographer that we loved, so much that I considered driving 2 hours back into her area just to have our photos taken. This was a ridiculous notion with two small children who had a hard time with long car rides, but it felt like such a leap of faith to try someone new. Emily more than exceeded our expectations! At that time, our boys were 6 months and 3 yro and I wanted to ensure we got some photos that were usable for our Christmas cards. Photos with small children can be tough, as you see lots where the kids are not smiling or looking at the camera or where the look like tiny little frozen awkward robots. I was looking for a photographer who could capture some sweet moments that included some smiles but also some just natural interactions. Wow, did Emily do a fantastic job. So much so that we have used her ever since. She is unfailingly kind, great with kids (she lets my boys help her take photos of their sibling – which lets them feel so special), super prompt with response times, professional to work with, and best of all an amazing photographer. I absolutely love our photos every year and she does such a fantastic job of capturing my kids’ personality. I highly recommend her to anyone I know looking for a photographer!
